Three-phase motor controller with integrated IGBT pre-driver
The Infineon IRMCF341TY is a motor controller from the MCE™ series that handles commutation and direction management for AC synchronous motors. Its output configuration is a pre-driver arranged as three half-bridges, sized to drive an external IGBT power stage in a three-phase inverter topology. Communication with a host microcontroller or system controller goes through I2C, RS-232, or SPI interfaces, giving flexibility in how the drive parameters are set and monitored. The part is mounted on the board in a 64-LQFP package (supplier device package 64-QFP), a common footprint for motor-control ASICs that balances pin count with board area.
The dual-voltage architecture keeps the digital core at a low-power voltage while the I/O section interfaces with 3.3 V logic and sensor inputs.

For a new design, a pin-compatible or functionally equivalent part from the same MCE™ family or a newer motor-control platform should be evaluated.
