Low-voltage SOT-23 switch for load and DC-DC applications
The IRLML6246TRPBF: It is designed for low-voltage switching in portable electronics, load switches, and DC-DC converter secondary-side rectification where board space is tight.
Maximum on-resistance is 46 mOhm at 4.1 A with a 4.5 V gate drive. Gate threshold voltage maxes at 1.1 V at 5 µA; gate charge is 3.5 nC at 4.5 V.
Thermal and environmental limits
Maximum power dissipation is 1.3 W at 25°C ambient in the SOT-23 package — that figure assumes the copper pad area on the PCB is adequate; a 2-layer board with minimal copper will reduce the effective dissipation. Input capacitance is 290 pF at 16 V drain-source, which keeps switching losses low in high-frequency converters.
