Active lifecycle — no LTB pressure

The TO-220-3 package is a through-hole standard that survives rework cycles well — the leads are thick enough to handle a few soldering-iron touches, and the tab is easy to bolt to a heatsink. For dual-sourcing, look at other 150 V N-channel TO-220 FETs with similar Rds(on) and gate charge from the same voltage class; the datasheet's safe-operating-area curves will tell you if a candidate matches your switching conditions.
