Gate charge and switching speed
Total gate charge is 68 nC at 10 V gate drive. For a 100 kHz hard-switched converter, that translates to roughly 6.8 mA average gate drive current — within the capability of most standard half-bridge gate drivers. The 1700 pF input capacitance at 100 V drain-source gives a rough Ciss figure for estimating the driver's peak current requirement during the Miller plateau.
Package and thermal dissipation
Through-hole TO-247-3 package (PG-TO247-3-21) with a 156 W power dissipation limit at case temperature. The TO-247 tab is the drain — the mounting hole and large copper pad area on the PCB or heatsink set the junction-to-case thermal resistance.
Lifecycle and compliance
ROHS3 compliant.
