Single low-side switch for 12V/24V loads
The Infineon IPS031STRR is a single-channel low-side power switch in a D2PAK (TO-263-3) surface-mount package. It switches grounded loads up to 2.8 A from a supply rail rated to 35 V maximum, with a typical on-resistance of 45 mOhm. The switch is controlled by a simple On/Off logic input (non-inverting, 1:1 ratio) and requires no external Vcc supply — the gate drive is self-biased from the load voltage.

The 45 mOhm typical Rds(on) keeps conduction losses low — at 2.8 A the I²R loss is about 0.35 W, manageable in the D2PAK footprint with adequate PCB copper for heat sinking.
