Dual low-side switch in an 8-SOIC — what it does
It drives two independent loads up to 1 A each from a 35 V max supply rail, with a typical on-resistance of 130 mOhm per channel. The switch is self-contained — it needs no Vcc supply pin to operate (the gate drive is derived from the load voltage), and the input is a simple non-inverting On/Off logic signal. Fixed current limiting and over-temperature protection are built in, so external sense resistors or thermal shutdown circuitry are not required.
130 mOhm Rds(on) and 150 °C junction — the thermal budget
At 1 A per channel, conduction loss is I² × R = 0.13 W per channel at 25 °C junction. The 130 mOhm typical Rds(on) is specified at 25 °C; actual on-resistance rises with temperature, so at 150 °C junction the loss roughly doubles.
