Two 100V switches in one TDSON-8 — what that buys you
The Infineon IPG20N10S4L35AATMA1 is a dual N-channel MOSFET from the OptiMOS™ family, packing two 100V-rated, 20A-capable transistors into a single PG-TDSON-8-10 package.
That puts conduction loss at roughly 10 W per channel at full load — manageable if the exposed pad on the PG-TDSON-8-10 package gets a solid thermal via array to the inner ground plane.
Gate charge and input capacitance — switching speed trade-offs
Total gate charge at 10 V is 17.4 nC, and input capacitance at 25 V drain-source is 1105 pF. For a 100 kHz hard-switched converter, the gate-drive current needed is about 1.7 mA — well within a standard driver's capability. The low Qg keeps switching losses in check for PWM applications like brushed DC motor drives or solenoid valves, where the 20 A continuous rating gives plenty of headroom for inrush.
