600 V, 600 mOhm — the conduction-loss anchor
The 600 mOhm maximum on-resistance is specified at 1.7 A with 10 V gate drive — that is the operating point, not a 25°C-only number. With a total gate charge of 9 nC at 10 V, the switching figure of merit (Rds(on) × Qg) lands at 5400 mOhm·nC, competitive for a 600 V device in this current class.
Active production, ROHS3, no replacement needed
The ±20 V maximum gate-source rating gives margin for gate-drive overshoot in hard-switched topologies. Input capacitance is 363 pF at 400 V drain-source, which keeps the switching node capacitance low enough for 100 kHz+ operation without excessive ringing.
