Conduction and switching — what the numbers tell the designer

Maximum on-resistance is 500 mOhm at 2.3 A drain current with 13 V gate drive. Gate charge is 18.7 nC at 10 V. Input capacitance is 433 pF at 100 V drain-source — a low value that contributes to fast switching edges and low capacitive turn-on loss. The gate threshold voltage maximum is 3.5 V at 200 µA drain current, which gives good noise margin against spurious turn-on in high-dV/dt environments like PFC inductors.
