It uses a Trench Field Stop structure for low conduction and switching losses, with a typical on-state voltage of 2.5 V at 6 A and 15 V gate drive.
The part is supplied in a TO-252-3 (DPak) surface-mount package, supplier device code PG-TO252-3. The tab is the collector terminal, so PCB layout must account for the exposed pad.
