The TO-247-3 package (PG-TO247-3) is a standard through-hole footprint with a large tab for heatsink mounting — torque the mounting screw to the manufacturer's specification and apply thermal compound for consistent thermal resistance. The -40 °C to 175 °C operating junction range covers cold-start and full-load conditions in motor drives and induction heating equipment.
