600 V / 15 A three-phase IGBT module for motor drives
The Infineon IGCM15F60GAXKMA1 is a 600 V, 15 A three-phase IGBT module from the CIPOS™ family, integrating six IGBTs with freewheeling diodes in a 24-PowerDIP through-hole package. It's built for variable-frequency motor drives, UPS systems, and PFC stages where a compact, isolated power stage is needed. The 2000 Vrms isolation rating simplifies creepage and clearance compliance in mains-referenced designs.
Package and isolation — what they mean for the build
The 24-PowerDIP module (1.028" body length, 26.10 mm) is a through-hole package that sits on a single-sided PCB — no heatsink clip or press-fit hardware required. The 2000 Vrms isolation between the power stage and the control pins means you can drive the low-side IGBTs directly from a 15 V gate supply without an isolated DC-DC for each phase. Mount close to the DC-link capacitor; long traces between the module and the bulk cap add stray inductance that increases turn-off voltage overshoot.
Active lifecycle — no LTB risk for new designs
The IGCM15F60GAXKMA1 carries an Active lifecycle status and is ROHS3 compliant. There is no last-time-buy notice or NRND flag on this part, so it can be specified into new BOMs without an immediate end-of-life watch. The CIPOS™ series is Infineon's established IPM platform, which means PCN and longevity support are aligned with a mainstream product line.
