Flyback switcher for 26 W isolated supplies
The Infineon ICE3RBR4765JZXKLA1 is an integrated offline flyback switcher from the CoolSET®F3R family, combining a 650 V avalanche-rated MOSFET with a PWM controller in a single through-hole PG-DIP-7-1 package. Rated for 26 W of output power, it targets isolated AC-DC auxiliary supplies in industrial power systems, appliance control boards, and metering equipment where board space is constrained and through-hole assembly is preferred for reliability and rework.
The 650 V breakdown voltage on the integrated MOSFET provides headroom for universal input flyback designs with standard derating margin. The 26 W power rating is the continuous output capability in a typical open-frame design with adequate heatsinking. Operating junction temperature spans -40°C to 130°C.
Fault protection and supply range
Built-in fault protections include current limiting, open-loop detection, over-load, over-temperature, and over-voltage — all on-chip, no external comparators needed. The VCC supply range is 10.5 V to 25 V, with a startup voltage threshold of 18 V, which is compatible with standard auxiliary winding designs. The output is isolated by design (the feedback loop crosses the isolation barrier externally), so this IC drives the primary side only.
The PG-DIP-7-1 package is a 7-lead through-hole DIP with 0.300-inch body width. Through-hole mounting suits prototype builds and low-volume production.
