Full-bridge IGBT module for 400 V-class drives
It uses Trench Field Stop technology to keep Vce(on) at 1.9 V typical at 50 A, which directly sets the conduction loss budget for the thermal design. An integrated NTC thermistor simplifies heatsink temperature monitoring without an external sensor.
With a 70 A continuous collector rating and 600 V breakdown, this module handles 400 V-class DC-bus rails with margin. The 190 W maximum power dissipation sets the heatsink sizing target — expect a forced-air or liquid-cooled plate for sustained full-load operation. The 3.1 nF input capacitance at 25 V means the gate driver needs to source about 1.5 A peak for a 1 µs switching edge; a standard 2 A isolated driver is sufficient.
Package and mounting — chassis-mount AG-ECONO2B
The AG-ECONO2B module is a chassis-mount package with screw terminals for power and signal connections. The baseplate is designed for direct mounting to a heatsink with thermal compound. The integrated NTC thermistor provides a linear temperature readout for over-temperature protection or fan control.
