USB-C port controller for the power-delivery design
The Infineon CYPD3177-24LQXQT is a USB Type-C port controller from the EZ-PD™ BCR series, built to handle USB PD negotiation and legacy charging protocols in a single 24-QFN package. It accepts a supply from 3V up to 24.5V, which covers the full USB-C voltage range from standard 5V through PD 3.0 profiles.
For a BOM freeze, this means no imminent PCN risk; the EZ-PD BCR series is a current-generation portfolio.
