ARM Cortex-M0 with integrated BLE and CapSense
The Infineon CY8C4247LQQ-BL483T is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0 MCU from the PSoC 4 CY8C4xx8 BLE series, clocked at 48 MHz. It packs 128 KB of Flash and 16 KB of RAM, enough for a BLE stack plus a modest application layer. The part integrates Bluetooth, CapSense touch sensing, LCD drive, and a 12-bit ADC with eight channels — so a single chip can handle wireless connectivity, a capacitive touch interface, and analog sensor reads without external converters. The supply range spans 1.71 V to 5.5 V. Thirty-six GPIOs are available in the 56-QFN package (7x7 mm), and the internal oscillator saves a crystal for non-critical timing. The industrial temperature grade of -40 °C to 105 °C suits outdoor telecom enclosures, motor drives, and under-hood automotive auxiliary modules.
128 KB Flash and 16 KB RAM — what fits
128 KB of program Flash and 16 KB of SRAM define the application envelope. A typical BLE peripheral profile (battery service, device information, custom characteristic) plus a CapSense button array and a few ADC channels leaves room for a small RTOS or a state-machine scheduler.
Active — no LTB clock ticking
The CY8C4247LQQ-BL483T carries an Active lifecycle status. It can be specified into new production without planning for an obsolescence migration. ROHS3 compliant.
