Core and memory budget for BLE sensor nodes
The CY8C4247LQI-BL473 runs an ARM Cortex-M0 core at 48 MHz — enough throughput to service a BLE stack, CapSense scanning, and sensor polling without starving the radio link layer. 128 KB of flash and 16 KB of SRAM leave room for the Bluetooth protocol stack plus a modest application image; the 36 general-purpose I/O support parallel sensor inputs and display segments.
Peripheral set and connectivity for wireless control
On-chip Bluetooth, CapSense (SmartSense), PWM, and a watchdog timer cover the common blocks for a battery-powered wireless HMI or environmental monitor — no external BLE module needed. Wired interfaces include I²C, SPI, UART/USART, LIN, IrDA, and SmartCard — the part can bridge a BLE link to an industrial sensor bus or a legacy serial protocol.
