Cortex-M0 at 48 MHz with programmable analog
The CY8C4245AZI-473 is an Infineon PSoC 4 MCU built around a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0 core clocked at 48 MHz — enough throughput for real-time control loops in sensor fusion, motor commutation, or HMI response without a dedicated DSP. On-chip memory pairs 32 KB of flash with 4 KB of SRAM, sized for small-footpoint firmware that runs a single control algorithm plus a communication stack over I²C, SPI, or UART.
Analog front-end and peripheral mix
Eight 12-bit SAR ADC channels and two current-output IDACs let the part handle analog sensor conditioning and closed-loop drive without an external converter — the ADC samples at up to 1 Msps, and the IDACs can source or sink up to 2 mA per channel for sensor excitation or feedback trimming. The 36 GPIOs map to a 48-LQFP package (7x7 mm), giving enough I/O for a keypad matrix, LED indicators, and a parallel LCD interface alongside the serial peripherals.
