Active-production PSoC 4 entry point with CapSense
The Infineon CY8C4025LQI-S402 is a PSoC® 4 CY8C4000S series microcontroller built around an ARM® Cortex®-M0+ core running at 24 MHz. It is a 32-bit single-core device with 27 I/O lines, a single 10-bit ADC, and an internal oscillator that eliminates the external crystal in many designs.

CapSense and peripheral set
CapSense support is built into the peripheral block, alongside brown-out detect, reset, LVD, POR, PWM, and WDT. The connectivity set includes I²C, IrDA, LINbus, Microwire, SmartCard, SPI, SSP, and UART/USART, covering most serial-interface needs for a cost-sensitive embedded controller. The single 10-bit ADC is adequate for basic analog sensing — temperature, voltage monitoring, or slow sensor inputs — but designs requiring multiple high-resolution channels should look at the PSoC 42xx siblings with 12-bit SAR ADCs.
Sourcing and date-code traceability
With an Active lifecycle status, this part is not subject to last-time-buy risk. For buyers concerned with provenance, the laser-etched date-code and top-marking on each reel can be cross-checked against the manufacturer's plant records — a standard counterfeit screen for any PSoC 4 device. Reel and tray quantities vary; confirm the packaging format at quote time.
