50 MHz 8051 core — what the speed buys you
At 50 MHz, this 8051 core runs control loops, data acquisition sequences, and communication protocol stacks (I²C, SPI, UART) without stalling the analog peripherals. The DMA controller offloads data transfers, so the CPU can service CapSense scanning or LCD refresh in the background. For a touch-sensitive panel reading four analog channels and updating a segment LCD, the headroom is comfortable.
The 48-QFN with exposed pad (7x7 mm) provides good thermal conduction to the PCB — useful when the on-chip ADC and CapSense are running continuously.
ROHS3 compliant.
