144 Mbit QDR II SRAM at 300 MHz — what the clock rate buys you
The Infineon CY7C1615KV18-300BZXI is a 144 Mbit synchronous QDR II SRAM organized as 4M x 36, clocked at 300 MHz. QDR II architecture delivers separate read and write data ports, eliminating the bus-turnaround dead cycles that conventional synchronous SRAMs incur. At 300 MHz each port can transfer one 36-bit word per clock edge, giving an aggregate bandwidth of 21.6 Gbit/s (300 MHz × 36 bits × 2 edges).
The 200 mV tolerance means the regulator must hold regulation within that band under load transients; a standard 1.8 V LDO with ±2% accuracy covers it comfortably.
