The CY7C1426AV18-250BZXC is a 36Mbit QDR II (Quad Data Rate) synchronous SRAM from Cypress, organized as 4M x 9. It clocks at 250 MHz, delivering two data words per clock cycle on both read and write ports — effectively four data transfers per clock. That bus architecture eliminates the dead cycles of traditional SRAM when switching between read and write, making it a fit for high-throughput packet buffers in networking gear, telecom line cards, and test equipment where back-to-back transactions matter.
Supply and temperature — staying inside the operating window
If your system sees extended temperature extremes, you will need an industrial-rated QDR II part from a different density or family.
Housed in a 165-ball FBGA (15x17 mm body), surface-mount only. The ball pitch and layout are specific to this QDR II generation.
