256K x 36 synchronous SRAM at 166 MHz
The CY7C1366C-166BGCT is a 9Mbit synchronous SRAM organized 256K words by 36 bits, clocked at 166 MHz with a 3.5 ns access time. The wide 36-bit datapath suits networking packet buffers, DSP coefficient stores, or any application that needs a full 36-bit word in one cycle without external muxing.
3.3V supply, commercial temperature, 119-ball BGA
Runs from a 3.135V to 3.6V supply, nominally a 3.3V rail. The 119-ball PBGA (14x22 mm body) uses a 1.0 mm ball pitch — the fan-out vias need a four-layer PCB minimum to keep the 36 data lines and address bus routable without congestion.
Infineon lists the CY7C1366C-166BGCT as obsolete. Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) packaging, the reels should be stored in a dry cabinet per J-STD-033 — the 119-BGA is moisture-sensitive, and the reel format is intended for pick-and-place assembly, not hand-soldering.
