The CY7C1363C-133AXCT is a 9Mbit synchronous SRAM clocked at 133 MHz with a 6.5 ns access time from clock edge. That 6.5 ns window is the time from clock rising edge to data valid on the bus — in a 133 MHz system (7.5 ns period), the memory leaves about 1 ns of margin for PCB trace delay and controller hold time. This part is built for pipelined read/write bursts where the controller issues an address on one clock and gets data back on the next, keeping the bus busy every cycle. Organised as 512K words × 18 bits, the 18-bit word width is common in networking gear and DSP arrays where a parity bit or a tag rides alongside a 16-bit data payload. The parallel memory interface connects directly to a standard SRAM controller — no serialisation overhead.
Many 3.3 V systems run at 3.0–3.6 V, so this part fits without a separate regulator.
