12 ns access time — what it means for the bus
A 12 ns access time sets the window for the controller to strobe data out of the SRAM. The write cycle time matches at 12 ns.
2M x 16 organization — footprint and address map
The 2M x 16 configuration provides a 16-bit data bus, which halves the number of chip-select cycles compared to an 8-bit wide part of the same density. The 48-FBGA footprint is specific to this density and width; a 1M x 16 or 2M x 8 part in the same package family will not map pin-for-pin without a PCB layout change.
Industrial temperature rating — factory-floor ready
Rated for -40°C to 85°C ambient, this SRAM is suited for control cabinets, outdoor enclosures, and factory-floor equipment where the internal board temperature can swing well beyond commercial limits. No derating is required within that envelope.
