Dual-port synchronous SRAM for shared-memory designs
The Infineon CY7C09579V-83AXI is a 1.152 Mbit synchronous dual-port SRAM organized as 32K x 36 bits. It provides two independent ports with separate address, data, and control lines, allowing simultaneous read/write access from two bus masters or processors. Key features include a 6 ns access time and an 83 MHz clock frequency, enabling high-speed data transfers with minimal bus turnaround latency. The parallel memory interface and synchronous operation simplify timing closure in FPGA or ASIC glue logic.
The 6 ns access time and 83 MHz clock allow single-cycle data delivery with margin for PCB delays.
Supplied in a Tray, the device is housed in a 144-LQFP package (supplier device package 144-TQFP, 20x20 mm body). Surface-mount assembly with a standard JEDEC footprint; no exposed thermal pad, so heat sinking relies on the package body and airflow.
