9 ns access, 67 MHz clock — the synchronous dual-port window
The CY7C09199-9AC is a 1.152 Mbit synchronous dual-port SRAM organized as 128K x 9 bits, with a 9 ns access time and a 67 MHz clock rate. The 9th bit per word is typically used for parity or a control flag, giving the 128K x 9 organization an edge over a standard x8 part in data-integrity applications. Dual-port architecture means two independent buses can read or write to any memory location simultaneously — no arbitration delay for the second port as long as both sides avoid the same address in the same cycle. This is the key differentiator from a single-port SRAM where the bus must be shared or multiplexed.
5 V supply, 100-LQFP — legacy system fit
This is the standard indoor equipment temperature band; not qualified for industrial or automotive extended-range environments.
Obsolete — sourcing through independent channels
Available through independent surplus and broker channels. Quantities are lot-specific; pricing and availability are confirmed at the time of an RFQ. No pin-compatible direct replacement is documented by Infineon — a board-level change may be required for a functional substitute.
