Output types and what they drive
The HCSL outputs are differential and intended for high-speed serial links such as PCIe, while the LVCMOS outputs drive general-purpose logic or clock buffers. The differential output path means the part generates clean differential clocks from a single-ended crystal reference — no external differential input is needed. This simplifies the board layout around the oscillator.
Lifecycle and sourcing
It is RoHS non-compliant, so verify your assembly house's exemption policy if lead-free solder is required.
