Single-channel low-side switch for 42 V loads
The Infineon BTS3205GXUMA1 is a single N-channel low-side power switch from the HITFET series, rated for load voltages up to 42 V and a continuous output current of 350 mA. With a typical Rds(on) of 700 mOhm, it is sized for moderate-current loads such as relays, solenoids, or indicator lamps in automotive body electronics or industrial control panels. The On/Off interface accepts a non-inverting logic input, and the switch does not require a separate Vcc supply — the gate drive is self-biased from the load pin. The Auto Restart feature means the switch re-tries after a fault clears, which suits intermittent overloads like lamp inrush or motor start. Operating junction temperature spans -40 to 150 °C. The DSO-8 package (PG-DSO-8-24) is a standard footprint for reflow processes.
