Active production — no LTB planning needed
No last-time-buy window to track for ongoing builds.
44 mOhm Rds(on) at 4 A — conduction loss and thermal budget
That figure climbs with temperature — the datasheet's normalised Rds(on) curve is the derating reference for the actual ambient and airflow.
This is a low-side switch: the N-channel MOSFET connects the load to ground when turned on. The supply voltage (Vbb) is applied directly to the load; the switch sinks the return current. That suits grounded-load applications like relays, solenoids, and incandescent lamps where the load is permanently connected to the battery rail. Input type is non-inverting with a simple On/Off interface — a logic-high on the input pin turns the output on. No external Vcc supply is needed; the gate drive is self-biased from the drain voltage.
TO-252-3 package — footprint and thermal pad
Supplied in PG-TO252-3-313, the standard DPAK (TO-252) with two leads plus the tab. The 150 °C ceiling is the thermal shutdown threshold for the over-temperature protection.
