90 mOhm Rds(on) at 2 A — the conduction loss floor
The BTG70902EPLXUMA1 is a PROFET smart high-side switch from Infineon, delivering two N-channel outputs rated 2 A each with a typical on-resistance of 90 mOhm. Without that thermal path, the part thermally cycles into current limiting on a sustained 2 A load.
Fault protection set — current limit, over-temp, over-voltage
The switch integrates fixed current limiting, over-temperature shutdown, and over-voltage clamping. A stalled solenoid or shorted load triggers the latch function — the output turns off and stays off until the input is cycled. The slew-rate controlled turn-on limits inrush into capacitive loads like relay coils or small motors. No external Vcc/Vdd supply is required; the gate drive is self-biased from the load voltage (4 V to 20 V). Input type is non-inverting with a 1:1 input-to-output ratio — each of the two channels is independently controlled by its own logic pin.
