Part identity and key ratings
The BSS84PW L6327: The Infineon BSS84PW is a P-Channel enhancement-mode MOSFET from the SIPMOS® family, housed in a SC-70 (SOT-323) surface-mount package. It is rated for a drain-source voltage of 60 V and a continuous drain current of 150 mA at 25°C, with a maximum Rds(on) of 8 Ohm at 10 V gate drive. The gate threshold voltage is 2 V max at 20 µA drain current, and the device can handle up to ±20 V on the gate. Input capacitance is 19.1 pF at 25 V drain-source, and gate charge is 1.5 nC at 10 V, making it suitable for low-power load switching and signal-level applications where board space is tight.
Obsolete — what it means for sourcing
Any stock available now is new-old-stock or surplus inventory held by independent distributors.
The SC-70 (SOT-323) package is a compact three-lead surface-mount package. This footprint is common across many small-signal MOSFETs and bipolar transistors, so a pin-compatible replacement from another manufacturer may be possible — but verify the pinout against the original datasheet, as pin assignments can differ between vendors.
