P-channel load switch in a SOT-23
On-resistance is specified at 80 mOhm maximum with 2 A drain current and 10 V gate drive; the device also supports 4.5 V drive for lower-voltage logic interfaces. Gate charge is 5 nC at 10 V, keeping switching losses low in moderate-frequency applications.
Temperature range and dissipation limits
Operating junction temperature spans -55°C to 150°C, covering automotive under-hood and industrial environments without derating. Maximum power dissipation is 500 mW at ambient — the SOT-23 package is the thermal bottleneck, so board layout and airflow matter for sustained loads near the 2 A rating. Input capacitance is 500 pF at 15 V drain-source, which is modest and easy to drive from a GPIO or a small gate driver. The ±20 V maximum gate-source rating gives headroom for unregulated gate drive rails.
