Package and mounting
At 10V gate drive, the on-resistance is 800 mOhm maximum with 620 mA drain current. That is a reasonable figure for a small P-channel in a SOT-23 — expect a volt or so of drop at full load, which matters if the downstream circuit is sensitive to supply droop. The gate charge is only 6 nC at 10V, so a microcontroller pin can switch it directly through a modest series resistor; you do not need a dedicated gate driver for moderate switching speeds. Input capacitance is 176 pF at 25V drain-source, which keeps switching losses low in PWM applications under a few hundred kilohertz.
Temperature range and package — industrial and automotive capable
The junction temperature range spans -55°C to 150°C, so this part handles under-hood engine-bay temperatures or outdoor industrial enclosures without needing a separate high-temperature variant. The SOT-23-3 footprint is common across many small-signal MOSFETs, making it a straightforward drop-in for board-level repairs or new designs. Power dissipation is limited to 500 mW at 25°C ambient — keep that in mind if the load current is continuous near the 620 mA limit; the SOT-23 package cannot shed much heat without copper-plane assistance.
Lifecycle and sourcing
The BSR315PH6327XTSA1 carries an Active lifecycle status from Infineon, so it is still in regular production with no last-time-buy notice. The part is ROHS3 compliant.
