Product details

The BSP762TXUMA1 is a single-channel high-side power switch from Infineon's miniPROFET® series, built to drive resistive, inductive, and lamp loads in 12 V and 24 V industrial systems. Its 70 mOhm typical on-resistance keeps conduction losses under 0.3 W at 2 A continuous output, which the 8-SOIC package can dissipate without forced airflow in a 85°C ambient. The 5 V to 34 V load voltage range covers standard automotive and factory automation rails — a 24 V PLC output module or a 12 V automotive body controller both fit within the operating envelope without external regulation.

Protection set and junction temperature rating

Fixed current limiting, over-temperature shutdown, and over-voltage clamping are integrated — no external sense resistor or TVS diode is needed for basic fault handling. The over-temperature trip protects the die when junction temperature exceeds the 150°C absolute maximum, which is the same ceiling as the -40°C to 150°C operating junction range.

Active lifecycle and sourcing posture

No minimum order quantity beyond the reel increment.

Frequently asked questions

Can BSP762TXUMA1 replace BTS142DATMA1 in an existing design?

No — the BTS142DATMA1 is a low-side switch from the HITFET® series, while the BSP762TXUMA1 is a high-side switch from the miniPROFET® series. The output configuration (high-side vs low-side) and pinout differ, so they are not drop-in replacements without a board spin.
