P-channel load switch for 12 V and below
The BSL207SPH6327XTSA1: It is built for low-side load switching, battery reverse-polarity protection, and power-rail OR-ing in 5 V and 12 V systems where a P-channel simplifies the drive — no charge pump needed.
41 mOhm Rds(on) at 4.5 V gate drive
On-resistance is 41 mOhm max at 4.5 V gate drive and 6 A drain current. Dissipation at 6 A is within the 2 W package limit.
20 nC gate charge and 1007 pF input capacitance
Total gate charge is 20 nC at 10 V gate drive — a moderate figure for a 6 A P-channel in a TSOT-23-6 package. The input capacitance Ciss is 1007 pF at 15 V drain-source. For a 100 kHz switching regulator, the gate-drive current needed is about 2 mA; the Miller plateau is manageable with a standard MOSFET driver. The 20 V Vdss ceiling keeps this part out of 24 V and 48 V rails — it belongs on 3.3 V, 5 V, or 12 V buses.
ROHS3 compliant. Package is thin SOT-23-6 (PG-TSOP6-6), sharing the same footprint as standard SOT-23-6.
