9.4 A vs 63 A — the two current ratings
The BSC152N10NSFG: The 63 A continuous drain rating assumes the case is held at 25°C (Tc) — that requires a heatsink or a copper plane that pulls heat out of the PowerTDFN pad. On a bare PCB with still air, the ambient-temperature (Ta) rating of 9.4 A is the realistic limit. The 114 W power dissipation (Tc) tells you how much heat the die can shed if the thermal path is good.
Temperature range and environment
The -55°C to 150°C junction rating covers military and automotive under-hood environments. The 150°C maximum junction means you can push the part hard in a hot enclosure as long as the thermal impedance is managed. The 4 V maximum gate threshold at 72 µA drain current is typical for a standard-threshold MOSFET — no logic-level gate drive here.
Sourcing and lifecycle
Infineon lists the BSC152N10NSFG as an active product. No end-of-life notice or last-time-buy schedule is in effect. The part is ROHS3 compliant.
