Temperature range and operating environment
Rated for junction temperatures from -55°C to 150°C, this MOSFET suits industrial and automotive environments where ambient heat and self-heating stack up. The 150°C maximum junction temperature gives headroom for fault conditions or high-current bursts, but continuous operation near that limit requires careful thermal management — the 50 W dissipation at case temperature assumes a well-sinked junction-to-case path. For outdoor telecom or under-hood applications, the wide temperature range is a direct fit.
