Current ratings: case vs ambient
The continuous drain current is rated 25 A at 25°C ambient (Ta) and 110 A at 25°C case temperature (Tc). That two-tier spec is the derating reality: in a real board with limited copper and airflow, the 25 A figure is the practical ceiling unless you bolt the tab to a heatsink or large PCB pad. Gate charge is 23 nC at 10 V — moderate for a 25 V MOSFET in this package. A standard gate driver with 1 A peak output can switch it past 200 kHz before the gate-drive losses eat into efficiency.
Temperature range and package reality
That makes it a candidate for avionics power rails, outdoor telecom rectifiers, or engine-bay DC-DC converters where the ambient can hit 105°C and the junction still has headroom. The PG-TDSON-8-5 package is a surface-mount PowerTDFN with an exposed drain pad. The thermal resistance to case (48 W max dissipation) assumes that pad is soldered to a copper plane; without it, the 2.5 W ambient limit applies.
