Automotive-grade pre-biased PNP in a SOT-23-3
The Infineon BCR562E6327 is a PNP pre-biased transistor in the PG-SOT23-3-3 package, qualified to AEC-Q101 for automotive applications. It integrates two 4.7 kOhm resistors — one in series with the base (R1) and one between base and emitter (R2) — so the device acts as a switch with just two external connections: the collector and the base drive line. This saves a resistor pair per channel on the PCB, which matters when you are populating a dozen identical solenoid or relay driver stages on a body-control module.
500 mA / 50 V — where it fits
Rated for 500 mA continuous collector current and a 50 V collector-emitter breakdown, this part handles the typical automotive 12 V / 24 V load switching — lamps, small relays, solenoids, logic-level shifters. The 150 MHz transition frequency is generous for a pre-biased part, so it can also serve as a high-side driver for low-speed PWM loads like a seat-motor relay or a fan clutch. The 330 mW power limit in the SOT-23-3 means you need to keep the junction temperature in mind at the top of the current range; derate per the thermal curve above 85 °C ambient.
