Dual pre-biased NPN/PNP in a single SOT-363
The Infineon BCR48PNH6433XTMA1 packs one NPN and one PNP pre-biased transistor into a single PG-SOT363-PO package, saving board space and reducing pick-and-place cost compared to two discrete bias-resistor networks. Each transistor integrates the base-bias (R1) and base-emitter shunt (R2) resistors internally — the NPN side uses 47kΩ for both R1 and R2, while the PNP side uses 2.2kΩ for R1 and 47kΩ for R2. This makes it a drop-in for low-side/high-side switching pairs in 5V logic-level interfaces, relay drivers, or LED indicators where the external resistor count matters. Collector current is rated 70mA for the NPN and 100mA for the PNP, with a collector-emitter breakdown of 50V. The 250mW total package dissipation limits continuous duty.
Last-buy status — plan the BOM now
Infineon lists the BCR48PNH6433XTMA1 as Last Buy. That means the manufacturer has issued a last-time-buy notice — once the remaining inventory is consumed, this exact order code will no longer be produced. For a production BOM that depends on this dual-transistor, the window to secure lifetime-buy quantities is closing.
Transition frequency and switching edge
The NPN side transitions at 100MHz, the PNP at 200MHz.
