AEC-Q101 pre-biased NPN — the automotive switching transistor
The BCR146T E6327: The Infineon BCR146T is an automotive-grade NPN pre-biased transistor in a PG-SOT23-3-3 surface-mount package. It integrates a 47 kΩ base resistor (R1) and a 22 kΩ emitter-base resistor (R2), so the switching threshold is set by the resistor divider and the base-emitter turn-on voltage — no external bias resistors needed on the BOM. Qualified to AEC-Q101, it is specified for the full automotive temperature range and carries the documentation an OEM auditor expects for PPAP submission.
50 Vce / 70 mA Ic — the drive-stage envelope
With a 50 V collector-emitter breakdown and 70 mA continuous collector current, this transistor handles low-side switching of relays, solenoids, indicator LEDs, and logic-level loads in automotive systems.
Sourcing this part for production
The AEC-Q101 qualification and active lifecycle mean this part qualifies for production BOMs without a supply-chain contingency plan — no broker vetting or last-time-buy math required.
