Pre-biased NPN in a tiny SOT-323
The Infineon BCR141WH6327XTSA1 is an NPN pre-biased transistor — a digital transistor with two 22 kOhm resistors integrated into the package. It is designed for switching and driver applications where you would otherwise add two external resistors to a standard BJT. The base resistor (R1) and the emitter-base resistor (R2) are both 22 kOhms, giving a fixed bias network that saves board space and reduces component count in low-current loads up to 100 mA collector current.
50 V breakdown, 250 mW ceiling
The 50 V collector-emitter breakdown voltage covers 24 V and 48 V industrial rails with margin. The 250 mW total power dissipation in the SOT-323 package limits continuous collector current well below the 100 mA maximum in any real heat path — at 5 V VCE and 50 mA you are already at 250 mW, so derate for ambient temperature above 25 °C. The 130 MHz transition frequency is fine for PWM switching up to a few megahertz; beyond that the integrated resistor network adds propagation delay.
Infineon lists the BCR141WH6327XTSA1 as Obsolete.
