Automotive-grade pre-biased NPN — what the ratings mean
The built-in bias resistors — 10 kOhms base (R1) and 47 kOhms emitter-base (R2) — eliminate two external passives from the BOM, saving placement cost and board area in high-volume ECU modules. Collector-emitter breakdown is rated at 50 V, with a maximum collector current of 100 mA and power dissipation of 200 mW. The 150 MHz transition frequency is adequate for switching loads up to the low-MHz range, typical for relay drivers, solenoid pre-drivers, and logic-level interface circuits in 12 V automotive environments.
Supplied in a PG-SOT23 (TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3) package, surface-mount only. The three-pin footprint matches standard SOT-23 land patterns. No exposed pad; thermal dissipation relies on the package body and PCB copper.
