Dual NPN with bias resistors — what it saves on the board
The Infineon BCR129SH6327XTSA1 packs two NPN transistors, each with a 10kΩ base resistor integrated, into a single PG-SOT363-PO package. That means one component replaces two discrete transistors plus two resistors — cuts placement cost and board area on high-volume boards like relay drivers, logic-level translators, or simple switch arrays. The 50V collector-emitter breakdown and 100mA collector current rating cover typical 24V industrial logic and low-power solenoid drive. Transition frequency of 150MHz is plenty for switching up to a few MHz.
That is a formal lifecycle flag — the part is still available for existing production, but the manufacturer signals it may transition to end-of-life without a direct replacement. For a repair bench or a legacy BOM line, that is the cue to qualify a pin-compatible alternative before the last-time-buy window closes.
