Pre-biased dual transistor with integrated resistors
The Infineon BCR 48PN H6727 is a dual pre-biased transistor combining one NPN and one PNP die in a single SOT-363 package. Each transistor has its base resistor (R1) integrated — 47 kΩ for the NPN side, 2.2 kΩ for the PNP side — and both share a common 47 kΩ emitter-base resistor (R2). This integration saves two external resistors per channel, shrinking board area in switching and driver stages where you need complementary push-pull or level-shifting.
Ratings that define the switching load
The NPN collector is rated for 70 mA continuous, the PNP for 100 mA, with a collector-emitter breakdown of 50 V. Saturation voltage is specified at 300 mV typical with 500 µA base drive and 10 mA collector current — a useful check for low-side or high-side switches where headroom is tight. Total package dissipation is 250 mW, so derate if both transistors are conducting near their limits simultaneously.
Infineon lists the BCR 48PN H6727 as obsolete. No direct pin-compatible replacement has been announced under the same base number.
