PNP pre-biased transistor for low-side switching
The Infineon BCR 199F E6327 is a PNP pre-biased transistor in a SOT-723 surface-mount package. The 50 V collector-emitter breakdown and 70 mA continuous collector current suit it for low-side switching of small inductive loads, relay coils, or LED strings in 24 V industrial or 48 V telecom auxiliary rails.
SOT-723 footprint and thermal budget
The SOT-723 (PG-TSFP-3) package is one of the smallest three-lead packages available, roughly 1.2 mm × 1.2 mm. That saves board area but limits dissipation to 250 mW. For a 70 mA load with a 300 mV Vce(sat) at 500 µA base drive, the on-state dissipation is about 21 mW, well within the budget. If you need to switch near the 70 mA limit continuously, keep the ambient below 85 °C or derate the current.
For a spare-parts storeroom, this means you can order production quantities without worrying about a sudden cut-off.
