What this pre-biased PNP brings to a board
The Infineon BCR 192L3 E6327 is a PNP pre-biased transistor in the tiny SC-101 (SOT-883) package — a three-lead surface-mount device that integrates the bias resistors on-chip. The built-in 22 kΩ base resistor (R1) and 47 kΩ emitter-base resistor (R2) eliminate two external passives, saving board area in high-density designs like load switches, relay drivers, or logic-level interface stages where you need to switch a 100 mA collector current with a minimum of parts. The 200 MHz transition frequency means it handles switching up into the low-MHz range cleanly, and the 50 V collector-emitter breakdown gives enough headroom for 24 V industrial rails or 12 V automotive busses with margin.
Package and mounting
PG-TSLP-3-4 (SOT-883) package with 250 mW power dissipation, surface mount, 100 mA collector current.
Lifecycle and sourcing
For BOM lines that need a second source or a pin-compatible alternative, the Infineon BCR 192 family includes the same base part number with different package options (SOT-23, SOT-323, SOT-416) — the SOT-883 variant is the smallest footprint.
