Pre-biased PNP for compact switching and interface duty
The BCR 179T E6327: The Infineon BCR 179T is a PNP pre-biased transistor — the base resistor (R1 = 10 kOhms) is integrated on-chip, so you save one external resistor and one PCB trace per channel. The 150 MHz transition frequency is fast enough for low-frequency PWM (a few hundred kHz) and digital interface buffering, though not for RF output stages. The 250 mW power dissipation ceiling sets the thermal budget — at 100 mA continuous, the VCE(sat) of 300 mV at 10 mA (with 500 µA base drive) keeps dissipation under 30 mW in saturation, but linear-mode operation needs a heat check against the SC-75 package's thermal resistance. The 100 nA collector cutoff current (ICBO) is low enough for battery-powered idle circuits.
SC-75 footprint and reflow considerations
The BCR 179T comes in the SC-75 (SOT-416) surface-mount package, supplier device code PG-SC75-3D. That is a three-lead, very-small-outline transistor footprint.
Infineon lists the BCR 179T as Active. The base product number is BCR 179, so any future die shrinks or package changes will carry the same base number.
