PNP pre-biased in a tiny SC-75
The BCR 166T E6327: The BCR 166T is a PNP pre-biased transistor — a PNP switching transistor with two bias resistors integrated into the same package. The base resistor (R1) is 4.7 kΩ and the emitter-base resistor (R2) is 47 kΩ. Rated for 50 V collector-emitter breakdown and 100 mA continuous collector current, with a DC current gain (hFE) minimum of 70 at 5 mA, 5 V. Transition frequency is 160 MHz, so it handles modest-speed switching cleanly. The SC-75 (SOT-416) package is about 1.6 mm x 0.8 mm — roughly half the footprint of an SOT-23. That saves board area but means the part is small under the tweezers and the hot-air nozzle. Power dissipation is 250 mW, so keep the duty cycle and ambient in check if you push near the current limit.
